YCCC is please to welcome Chris Melino to Hawk Nation as YCCC’s Men’s Soccer Coach. Coach Melino brings 17 years of coaching experience to the Hawks, ranging from youth ball to U19 Premier Club ball. Most recently, he served as the Head Coach and Vice President of the U19 Premier club Maximum Velocity FC. Coach Melino graduated from the University of New Hampshire, where he played on the Club Soccer team for four years.
No stranger to hardware, Coach Melino – who holds a USSF E Coaching License – has picked up two club team championships with Maximum Velocity FC and multiple Northeast Premier Futsal League Championships.
Coach Melino aims to develop a program comprised of players with strong character and technical skill.
“I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to develop a soccer program at YCCC. To have the opportunity to build a program from the ground up is something that is very exciting to me,” said Coach Melino. “As an active and current coach from a local club program, I am fortunate to be able to recruit players that want to continue their soccer career at the collegiate level both locally and cost effectively. I am looking forward to recruiting talented players from other areas to help build on this momentum and look forward to our upcoming inaugural season.”
